At Sehlare Sa Meetlwa, we know that strong relationships built outside of the boardroom are invaluable. That’s why we’re thrilled to launch our new “Monthly Wednesday Night Connect” initiative!

We’ve seen firsthand the power of face-to-face interactions, especially in relaxed, social settings where people can simply connect and unwind. Recognising this, we saw an opportunity to create a regular gathering for the mining community in Kathu, Northern Cape: our home turf.

The Monthly Wednesday Night Connect specifically caters to individuals working in the mining and construction industries, providing a dedicated space to meet new colleagues, network, and de-stress from the week’s work. We believe this fosters a sense of community and opens doors to potential collaborations and friendships.

Our very first edition on 21 February 2024 took place at the vibrant Craft Bar and Café and was a resounding success! We were honoured to have our Director, Tiaan Ackermann, join the festivities and officially introduce our new SHERQ services lead, Edwill Cockrell. Seeing the positive energy and interactions filled us with enthusiasm for what this initiative holds.

Here’s what makes the Monthly Wednesday Night Connect special:
